LEVEL 1: FUNDAMENTALS OF LONGFORM
This class introduces and explores the fundamentals of longform improvisation in an environment of teamwork, trust, and fun. At the end of this course, you should have a solid framework established that will allow you to feel comfortable with yourself and others onstage. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the basics of working through a scene. Your skills of observation and discovery will be strengthened as you delve into the ideas of pattern and game.
Prerequisite: No prior experience neccessary

LEVEL 2: SCENEWORK AND STRUCTURES
In this class, students focus on creating scenes based on character, emotion, and theme. You'll learn to root scenes in agreement, which permits discovery and complexity beyond simple premise and conflict.
The class will also cover lonform structures and formats, including The Harold. Pattern, pacing, editing, theme development, and ensemble connection come together in this class that gives students the skills necessary for all successful longform play.
